Author Bio

Ann Lister is a native New Englander currently living on the island of Martha’s Vineyard with her husband. She has pulled details from her years living in the New England area and uses many local settings and landmarks in her novels.

After graduating art school, marrying, and raising two daughters, she established her own video production company. Having read a few by this Author,and enjoying each one,I was excited to read this,a second chance romance,with a beautifully designed cover to catch your eye!

Erica and Jack met years ago(Erica 15/Jack 16),when each on a Family holiday,young love and teenage angst led to broken hearts(due to distance away from each other)…Fast forward to 15 years later,Erica and her friends are on a last minute break away,and fate steps in as at the same place is Jack and his friends! Told in DUAL POV,with some flashbacks to their teenage time together,there are,as expected from a story by this Author,some hilarious banter,mishaps that will have you laughing out loud,along with hot scenes ,character’s who are well written,secrets leading to misunderstandings before reaching a HEA,with the potential for more!
I haven’t gone into great detail as to all that happens,as it would spoil it-Read it and Enjoy it for yourselves,and encourage a demand for a sequel!

My favorite Assassins couple -Lucas and Fallon Brooks make a welcome return in this Novella-and as a fan of this series,I was excited to see what was happening in the Brooks Family.Lucas has been playing for the Assassins for 10 years and now,as the oldest player on the team,it is starting to show-he’s older,and games are becoming harder to bounce back from,adding to that,his kids are growing up and they ,along with Fallon are his life apart from hockey. Aiden is 17 and his dad all over and it looks like he will be following in Lucas’s footsteps with his own hockey dream with interest from Bellevue,the other Brooks kids are all unique and are a good mix of both their parents.I won’t go into much more detail,as you should read it for yourselves,but
I found this Novella to be filled with hilarious moments,along with some emotional times,which adds to expectations with what happens.One thing has not changed and that is the love that Lucas and Fallon have for not only each other,but their family.I can’t wait the next Assassins book,and I hope we get more about Aiden and his goal to follow his dreams.
