I’ve read this series,and loved them all…in fact I did a re-read in preparation for this release,as it had been a while since I’d read them-and to be honest,Danni wasn’t one of my favorite characters(I’d forgotten how she came across in bk 2 Take What You Want) So on reading the blurb for Reinventing Us…I figured that something major would have happened to her-she wouldn’t have just left or cheated on either one of them…and in the Prologue,I didn’t expect it to go like it did!
From then it is a journey of grief,suffering,insecurities and feeling of failure that we see Alex gradually spiraling ,which has an effect on him, Chase,their daughter’s,and fellow band members.
However,Chase is not giving up on his love for Alex,and neither are the guys from both bands.That was another thing about this book that I loved – the inclusion of all the guys,even with the emotional side,there was some humor added,and of course,when Alex and Chase re-connect on an intimate level,it is H.O.T (Ann does write M/M particularly well),and with a couple of new characters introduced,this is not the last we’ll see of these guys,and I’m excited to see what/who’s next.
