Title: Edge of Honor
Duet: On the Edge Duet #1
Author: Jacob Chance
EOH Release Date: March 27, 2020
“I was the FBI’s dirty little secret, until I wasn’t.”
I’m Brennan Collins, but my associates call me Belfast.
Perhaps you’ve heard of me?
I’ve been known to be everything from a gentleman gangster to a cold-blooded killer.
Men fear me and pledge their undying loyalty. Women desire me and the power I possess, but there’s only one worth my time…
Agent Georgia Cohn.
As tempting as Georgia may be, she’s the definition of off limits. We stand on opposing sides of the law, and I like my side just fine.
But when we’re forced to team up to save both our lives, we’re drawn together, complicating an already intense situation. All the reasons for resisting her no longer matter.
I take what I want, when I want it. And Georgia is mine.
She just doesn’t know it yet.
RHR RATING 5*/5
‘He’s a criminal,and I’m an FBI Agent it doesn’t get more taboo than that’~Georgia
This story has been a bit of a time coming, readers of Edge of Retribution will be fully aware of who the character’s of Belfast and Georgia are, that being said, you can easily follow without having read it.
Now,what can I say without giving too much away?
That answer is not very much …all I will say is the following…
This first in a duet is fast paced, explosive right from the start, and as it goes on,there are a few twists and turns adding some suspense raising the question of Who is behind it all?? ,alongside the growing attraction between both Belfast and Georgia, leading to the lines being crossed, living in the moment, enjoying each other…..but all that is short lived as we are left with a W..T..F..MOMENT!!
Bring on Edge of Forever!

“Tragedy brought us together, but something stronger made me want to stay.”
Julian was the boy next door. My brother’s best friend, he fit with my family in ways I never could. While he and Rhett went on to play house, I left the only life I knew, desperate for a fresh start.
Until everything changed.
Heartache came along, and the aftermath of my brother’s death was here to stay. I was now face to face with Julian more than I ever wanted to be.
Being around him brought up all my insecurities, forced me to deal with hard truths, and conjured up feelings I had no business entertaining. He wasn’t the man I thought I knew. He was complex and layered, and inherently beautiful in all the ways I’d never noticed.
Not on another person.
Not on another man.
Not until him.
RHR RATING 4/5
‘We’re here, together, alive, and against all odds,we could make one another happy’
For Marley’s second dip into the MM genre, this story is full of emotion right from the beginning, and I was hooked to Deacon and Julian’s story, the slow gradual connections formed ,leading to an unexpected turn for both,as they find a relationship coming from a time of sorrow.
I won’t go into much more detail as to all that happens,of course there is some drama towards the end when they are going to tell those close to them that they are together, and while I get the initial reaction to how it was received,( Deacon’s mother) I did feel that the aftermath of it was somewhat rushed, and I would have liked a bit more, but generally I did enjoy reading the story.
Marley Valentine comes from the future. Living in Sydney, Australia with her family. When she’s not busy writing her own stories, she spends most of her time immersed in the words of her favourite authors.
