Series: King’s University Series
Author: Marley Valentine
Genre: MM Romance
Release Date: June 21, 2019
Earning a full scholarship to King University was my hard earned ticket out of hell. I’m happy to be away from the small town I grew up in and all the equally small minded people who live there.
King was going to be my safe haven. A place where I could leave the old me behind and finally grow into the young man my family had desperately tried to hide away.
Diving head first into new experiences, new friends, and parties, I didn’t expect to run straight into the one thing I wasn’t ready for.
His arms are welcoming, his body is addictive and his lips are heaven. Cole Huxley is everything I could fall in love with, except for one problem… I never wanted to fall for my professor.
RHR RATING 5*/5
As I said in my review for book 1 (Depravity) the King University series is a trio of Standalone stories, written by Jacob Chance/Marley Valentine and together as ‘Remy Blake, all exploring the taboo ‘student/teacher’ trope, yet all are connected, this one having the added twist of being MM.
As a fan of MM ,this story was of a particular interest to me,and I have to say that, for this being the first attempt from Marley at writing in this genre,I was not disappointed by Cole and Elijah’s journey.
As the book blurb gives enough away,I won’t go into much detail as to how their story unfolds, but what I will say is that Marley has created a well written,emotional,H.O.T. as F@%* tale, with character’s that work well together-and not just the two leads, but side character’s that had been introduced in the previous book, the friendships formed along the way, with some twists and turns, and some drama/angst that kept my attention throughout.
I really hope this is not the last we see of these characters, and that Marley will write more in the MM genre!
And can’t wait to see what both Jacob and Marley have planned under their pen name for book 3!
Marley Valentine comes from the future. Living in Sydney, Australia with her family. When she’s not busy writing her own stories, she spends most of her time immersed in the words of her favourite authors.
