I never planned to return to Albans Cove, until a family emergency has me rushing back home for the first time in fifteen years.

Everything’s the same in the small, quirky lake town—everything except the shy girl I left behind.

As the owner of the local inn and bar, Whitney Morgan has grown into the confident spitfire I always imagined she’d be. Seeing her again stirs up old memories, and the feelings I thought I’d buried long ago have resurfaced.

But I’m not the same naive, young boy she remembers.

I’m a man with a deadly past that’s followed me home and a present that’s placing everyone I care about in harm’s way.

With death lurking at every turn, how do I win back the heart of the woman I’m once again falling for while eliminating the imminent peril coming for us all?

‘Whitney Morgan was the one good thing I remember about my time in Albans Cove’ (Lynch)

As the blurb states, 15 years has passed since Lynch (who featured in Bk1) and Whitney were together, and having to return to his hometown, their reconnection comes alongside other elements to the plotline, which made it one crazy, fast paced, with LOL moments, mixed in with some suspense tale!
Not to give much away as to how it all unfolds, it’s DUAL POV’s, and the addition of new characters, who could be potential future stories, it was an entertaining read!

Jacob Chance grew up in New England and still lives there today. He’s a martial artist, a football fan, a practical joker, and junk food lover.

A USA Today bestselling author of sports romance and romantic suspense, Jacob plans on writing many more stories.
