I enjoyed the chemistry between both leads,the developing relationship during the summer before Maddie’s off to college, but after a misunderstanding,things don’t quite follow her plan.
Forward 18 months later,as the blurb states,Maddie is now at B.U,so of course their paths cross again,leading to a bit of a slowburn romance,with some fun moments added.
It is easily read as a Standalone,yet a great add to the Boston Terriers Hockey Series,told in DUAL POV’s,and with the previous books,has a good mix of sports detail,alongside the romance,recurring characters and the introduction to some new ones,that hopefully have stories to come.
Jacob Chance grew up in New England and still lives there today. He’s a martial artist, a football fan, a practical joker and junk food lover.
A writer of sports romcoms and romantic suspense, he plans on providing you with many more stories.
