Once again,Jacob has created a story that while easily read as a Standalone,it is a great addition to the series.
I’m not going to go into much detail as to all that happens-you can see from the blurb the initial concept,and to say much more would give too much away and it’s best to just read for yourselves. What I will say is that I loved how Nolan and Perri were together,their relationship gradually builds,the attraction they both feel from the start working it’s way to becoming more. As with the previous books,there is also lots of humor -particularly surrounding the side character’s (Clancy,Flynn etc) and the introduction of Nolan’s younger brother Donovan,who I don’t think we will have seen the last of (hopefully).
Told in DUAL POV’s,SCORE is another well written story,with likable characters,a good blend of game details,humor,some twists along the way,and quirky details that followers of Jacob will fully appreciate,adding to a series that I,for one will read again and again,and I look forward to seeing what will be next!
