should be reason enough for me to keep my distance. Add in that he’s a well
mannered, loyal and hardworking artist and I should be running in the other
direction.
easy to leave. Josh’s only flaw is he wants forever, and for the first time I
might want the same. But loving someone doesn’t mean you deserve them.

Canvas can easily be read as a Standalone, and for those of us who have read the previous books where Josh and Elle feature,it is one that we knew was coming, were all excited to see where their story would go.
From the Prologue,to the Epilogue,we are given so much more than just a friends to lovers tale~told in DUAL POV’s ~yes the HOT scenes between Josh and Elle are that -the obvious attraction between both comes across, and with how she reacts to him,at times,I must admit, did annoy me (tho as the story unfolds, reasons for why are revealed) It was great to see Kyle/Janny Derek/Kenna (who we’ve seen before) giving a slight insight to what was going on with them.
Josh with his art and his desire to be a Tattooist/owning his own studio, also brought in a series of new characters, and his family~Dad and Older brother with an MC /younger brother who, like him,is not in that life~All of whom could be potential story-lines for future works?? (no pressure Jacob!)
As I’ve said~it is more than just the friends to lovers, there was a lot going on in the story, and I haven’t gone into detail because,it would be better to read it for yourselves!
