Synopsis:

A friends to lovers military romance.

Life changes us all. But, not as much as the military. Ryan Wagner is fresh
out of the service, and trying his hardest to settle into his life in
Miami.

The only souvenir from his time spent overseas is a shoulder injury which
brings him closer to his best friend.

Lizzy ‘Lizard’ Packer hasn’t seen Ryan since he left for boot camp. The boy
who left is nothing compared to the man who has returned.

As a physical therapist, Lizzy gets to rub her hands all over his strong
arms.

It’s just a friendship.

A friendship she’s cherished since she was a little girl.

But, when the lines blur and then become nonexistent, will she be able to
keep her feelings at bay?

What happens when life throws you a curve ball, and nothing is as it seems?

Sometimes you never truly see someone until it’s too late.

For others, sometimes seeing someone is all it takes.

But for these two, sometimes seeing is just an illusion that one day fades.

Another in the ‘Sex Me Novellas’ Series that I have had the privilege of reading an ARC of,and with each one,we get some humor,HOTNESS(obviously!)and great characters,and compelling tales with an added twist-this one I did not expect,and as soon as I’d finished,I went back and re-read it,looking at it in a whole different way!
The book blurb gives enough away,and I won’t go into that much detail,for it would be a major spoiler,but what I will say is that,right from the pretty deep Prologue,I was hooked,and loved both leads,the dual POV titled in their childhood nicknames (Cryin/Lizard) added to the flow,the connection’s to previous novellas,with characters popping up was great(don’t panic if you haven’t read the others-it is easily read as a Standalone-but if not then WHY NOT!) Both Ryan and Lizzy,when they re-connect (after the four years that Ryan has been serving his country) the attraction builds, with the inevitable finally happening which is HOT! then Ryan’s insecurities on his growing feelings for his best friend,knowing he is keeping things to himself,alongside the experiences overseas(which is a realistic view of many who serve in the Forces) He did act like a bit of an A** but Lizzy wouldn’t give up on him-even when he pushed her away!
All in all SAVE ME is a very well thought out story,with characters you feel for,and would love to read more about (well I would!)

Logan Chance enjoys the simple things in life. Star Wars, music, and pretty
girls. Always in trouble at school, he was made to copy the dictionary
while the others played. This began his word fascination.

 

With a love of words he then realized he loved stringing those same words
