And if I am honest, I’d probably read the phone book if this lady wrote it. I love her dark twisted tales that draw you in and make you crave the darkness.

Albeit a little lighter than her previous offerings, I still absorbed every word of this tale of lost love and betrayal. In the first instalment of the Men by Numbers Series, we follow Alex and Dalton who are blindly trying to fight against their connection as they struggle to comprehend what ripped them apart all those years ago. Ker keeps the reader captivated as she delves into the past to find the answers while teasing you with the present.
Dalton has held on to his anger for a long time which results in him being down right mean to her at times, Alex has no idea why he hates her so much but the attraction they have for each other is still very much alive and makes for some hot intense moments.

As the story unfolds and the truth is revealed, we get a glimpse into the softer side of Ker Dukey.

As always with her writing, I couldn’t put this book down and read into the early hours of the morning to find out what became of this pair. I can’t wait for the next instalment featuring the deep and troubled Six which promises to be deliciously dark and intense, just the way I like it!!

I have always had a passion for storytelling, whether it be through lyrics or bed time stories with my sisters. I wanted to be an actress growing up so I could live many roles but I learned early on that my mind was too active… I would want to change the script.I would watch films and think of ways they could have improved the story if they took another direction so i thought it best that i tell my own.

My mum would always have a book in her hand when I was young and passed on her love for reading, inspiring me to venture into writing my own. I tend to have a darker edge to my writing. Not all love stories are made from light, some are created in darkness but are just as powerful and worth telling.

When I’m not lost in the world of characters I love spending time with my family. I’m a mum and that comes first in my life but when I do get down time I love attending music concerts or reading events with my younger sister.
